Filipe has always been intrigued by the experience and art of photography. It allows him to be fully present with himself and to experience the visual world around him with intention. To observe the world and watch it unfold is a true blessing. His photography is a combination of the natural world and the spaces he has been in. With his work, Filipe offers us a chance to connect and be present with ourselves for a moment, and with the nature that is all around us.
Filipe sees that photography narrates special moments of the past, be it of animals, the moon, or of people. Moments captured that would otherwise not exist beyond those photographs.
